Does Ashers Chocolate Contain Gluten
In the early Chester Asher chocolate recipe after bags of sugar, it contained no wheat or gluten-free ingredients.
Our milk chocolate is made from chocolate, sugar, vanilla, milk, and cocoa butter.
Our dark chocolate is the same, except that it is made with a high cocoa content.
While Ashers is not making our old chocolate recipe with wheat or gluten-free ingredients, gluten CONTINUES in many of our delicious products, including all chocolate-covered pretzels and graham-covered crackers, among others.
We do our best to avoid contamination when we make our chocolates. Safe and secure however, we cannot guarantee it since they are made together in the same place.

Whats The Difference Between Hot Cocoa And Hot Chocolate
I’m Italian and we only have one word to define this amazing beverage: cioccolata calda, literally ‘hot chocolate’ . So I thought hot cocoa and hot chocolate were synonyms.I just recently discovered that they are two different things:
- Hot cocoa is made from milk, sugar and cocoa powder
- Hot chocolate is made from melted chocolate and hot water, milk or cream TheKitchn says “the result is a rich, thick beverage that tends to be less sweet than hot cocoa, but more decadent. Sometimes it can be pudding-like”
So I guess my recipe is a combination of these two. It’s more a hot cocoa but with chocolate chunks in it and a thick consistency.

Can I Prepare This Hot Cocoa Mix In The Microwave
You can heat the milk in the microwave to make this hot chocolate the easy way. Just be the container you place it in is microwave-safe, and much larger than the amount of milk it contains since milk tends to bubble over in the microwave.
I wouldnt make the thicker variety of hot chocolate anywhere but the stovetop, since it is much more likely to clump in the microwave. You really need to whisk as it heats!
How Do You Garnish With White Chocolate
You can use white chocolate as a garnish in a lot of different ways. Liquify white chocolate and use it as a drizzle or coat. Shave a white chocolate bar with a cheese grater. You can also garnish with white chocolate bars, lightly torched. The options for garnishing with white chocolate are endless.

No. According to the company, Nestle hot chocolate mixes may contain wheat ingredients, so they should be avoided on a gluten free diet.
Does Swiss Miss hot chocolate have gluten?
Yes, in the U.S., Swiss Miss brand hot chocolate mixes are considered gluten free. Its made by ConAgra, which practices so-called truth in labeling for gluten, meaning that they dont hide gluten on their labels.
Gluten Free Dairy Free Hot Chocolate
The traditional, dark chocolate variety of this hot chocolate recipe is easy to make dairy-free, too. Replace the powdered cows milk with powdered coconut milk, and the liquid cows milk with your favorite unsweetened nondairy milk. I like almond milk. And be sure your dark chocolate is dairy free, or just leave it out entirely!
The white hot chocolate variety is harder to make dairy-free. The powdered milk can be replaced with coconut milk, but the more mild flavor of the drink means you may taste some coconut flavor from the powdered milk.

Yes, pure unsweetened chocolate is gluten free. Chocolate bars, however, contain multiple ingredients, and their ultimate gluten-free status will depend on those ingredients and how the manufacturing process was handled.

Cadburys has lotssss of different sized bars of plain Dairy Milk.
SHARING BARS : As far as I can see, ALL sizes of sharing bars are a may contain.
INDIVIDUAL BARS : all seem to have a may contain in all the shops Ive looked at but according to the Cadburys website, they do make some that are not may containyet to find one though!
If you want plain Dairy Milk, you need a bag of Mini Bars that look like this, not to be confused with the Little Bars .
