Kirkland Gluten Free Bakery

BEST OF COSTCO GLUTEN FREE | My Current Favorite Gluten Free Products At Costco 2021| Best Of Costco

You may have noticed the brand Kirkland in the list of gluten-free desserts above. This is because Kirkland is Costcos own brand, and many of the products youll find in Costco are made by Kirkland. They have an incredible bakery section but unfortunately, their gluten-free bakery products are non-existent!

When researching gluten-free dessert products from Kirkland, and the only item I came across was the Kirkland Signature Dark Belgian Chocolate Thins with Coconut and Almond. Theyre organic, vegan, and most importantly, gluten-free.

However, if you look outside of their Kirkland range, theres a great bakery range that they supply called Heavenly Bakes and they have a huge selection of gluten-free treats.

    Real Food Guide To Gluten

    By Kelly·

Note from Kelly: I always get excited about the budget-saving tips that Tiffany shares with us each month, but this one is a real gem not only because it helps to save money, but also time! By having this handy list to compare prices, we can quickly see what gluten-free items may be available at our local Costco and make a quick trip over to check them out. So thank you, Tiffany, as always for yet another incredibly helpful post!

No doubt about it, saving money on real food is hard. We have an aggressive grocery budget of $330 to feed four people for four weeks. Its a budget that has been attainable for several years now, but despite my best efforts, I still went over budget last month.

So when others say they struggle with affording whole foods, I completely understand! We started our own real food journey a couple years ago and back then, I could have really used a tour guide of sorts. A guide to tell me what to buy, where to get it and how much it was going to cost. Having a list like that would have GREATLY reduced my stress level, freed up more time and overall, made the switch to real food just a whole lot easier.

While I cant go back in time and re-do the baby steps weve already taken, I can take what Ive learned and create a tour guide for those who need the help NOW. Thats exactly what this post is: Its a real food guide to healthy food at Costco the gluten-free edition.

Without further ado here we go!

    Tips For Fantastic Giant Muffins

Gluten Free Snack Foods at Costco – Every Item to Buy & AVOID

A few tips for getting these to turn out just like you remember those Costco muffins:

    • Use the right-size of pan! Apparently, Costco keeps their giant muffin pans as a trade secret because we cant find them ANYWHERE on the internet and you can find EVERYTHING on the internet. Bravo, Costco, for a secret well-kept. However, weve found a way to crack the code and gone ahead and just used these brilliant 4-inch cake pans because, after careful inspection, weve discovered that Costco muffins are exactly 4-inches in diameter! HA! Take that, Costco-bakery-lords. I never thought Id be regularly using 4-inch cake pans but here we are. Ill just need to make a bunch of tiny cake recipes next!
    • Let your batter REST, per the recipe, for at least 30 minutes. For two reasons: 1) the batter thickens as it rests which you want especially with a boatload of chocolate chips floating around in there that you want to keep from sinking to the bottom a thicker batter will help suspend those morsels all throughout your muffins, ensuring every bite has the perfect ratio of fluffy muffin to chip and 2) something somewhere said that baking powder needs a bit more time to activate. Dont quote me on this, who knows if its actually true .

These kale chips by Brad’s may be a great way to get our kids to like it too. Let me know what you think! If you want to get your kids to eat fresh kale, give this Kale and Apple Salad recipe a try.
  • Dang Chips – Dang is making a sticky rice chip…I haven’t tried it yet but it definitely looks interesting.
  • Brad’s Crunch Kale Chips – Another kale chip. Has anyone tried it?
  • Everything Pretzels – These chips by Gratify are really good!
  • Kettle Chips – Costco carries several of Kettle’s chips.
  • Late July – These tortilla chips are one of our favorites.
  • Costco Gluten Free Cheese

Costco has tons of cheeses to help add to those cheese platters and charcuterie boards. Always check the ingredients to be on the safe side, but every cheese I looked at was gluten free.

I like this easy Spanish Cheese Sampler pack. It lets you try several kinds of cheese and they are pre-cut for a platter.

This fun Kirkland cheese flight even comes with wine pairing suggestions. Costco has some great wines in every price range. You can read more about gluten in wine to make sure your wine is free of gluten.

Don’t forget the meats…these meats are perfect with cheese and crackers!

These tapas meats by Noel are sold at Costco and are labeled as gluten free!

These antipasto meats by Busseto are also gluten free.

    Is Costco Cheesecake Gluten

Most Costco stores do not have gluten-free cheesecake, this is true of US and UK stores. Unfortunately, the Ferraras Bakery New York Cheesecake is not safe for consumption when following a gluten-free diet. While the ingredients do not specifically state gluten is an ingredient, their allergen statement says that:

Contains Eggs, Dairy, Wheat and Soy produced in a facility where nuts, seeds, milk, eggs, soy and flour are present

At the time of this article, none of their cheesecakes are safe to consume on a gluten-free diet, but we can hope that this changes in the future. Their range of gluten-free products is so vast, that I dont think well have to wait too much longer before Costco grace us with a gluten-free cheesecake. However, there are plenty of other gluten-free desserts to enjoy. Well take a look at those next!
