With the weather becoming cooler and Fall finally here, I chose Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Brownie Smores. The prep time for this recipe is just 5 minutes it really is as simple as mixing ingredients and throwing them into a slow cooker. The cooking time is 3 hours, but definitely worth the wait!

How To Make Banana Bread With Coconut
Method
Serves:
- 150 gm or ¾ cup Merryfield Caster Sugar
- 2 Lodge Farm Free Range Eggs
- ½ cup of The Olive Tree Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¾ cup of Inner Goodness Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp Stonemill Vanilla Extract*
- 1 ½ cups Has No Gluten Free Plain Flour
- 1 cup White Mill Almond Meal
- 1 cup of desiccated coconut
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup flaked coconut to decorate

Aldis Brownie Mix Vs Scratch Gf Brownies
Box mixes are generally not my favorites for baking as they can be full of stuff I dont want to ingest like excess salt, sugar and fats. So I rarely buy them. But recently I bought a gf brownie mix from Aldis for less than two bucks. It can be used for chocolate chocolate chip cookies but I made the classic brownies with my box. They came out very tasty. The flavor is that of very dark chocolate and the texture is extra fudgy. They were easy to make and even non celiacs enjoyed their fudgy goodness. I tried something different and had my last brownie with flakes of pink Himalayan sea salt on top. The fat ones are the best for this. I do have a big jar of fine grind pink salt from Aldis which is great for most uses but not for this go big and flaky. I happen to like chocolate with sea salt so I reasoned this could work too and it did. Very nice contrast try it sometime!
Aldi Live G Free Cheddar Cheese Biscuit Mix
Ok, who remembers those delicious garlic cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster? This option is that for your g-free friends! These biscuits are egg free, gluten free, soy free, and wheat free and you all you have to do is add water, oil, cheddar cheese and butter. Try them! So delicious. Priced at $1.85/box.

Ive been looking for a quick, easy and fun recipe to make on weekend morning and after a few tries, I think I hit the ball out of the park with these Gluten Free Coffee Cake Muffins.
These were super easy since I used Aldis Live G Free Baking Mix. To make this recipe even easier, I used my Babycakes Cupcake Maker and these muffins only took 6 minutes to bake. If you dont have a cupcake maker, you could use a muffin pan and bake them in your oven at 350 degrees.

When my wife announced she would be making gluten-free brownies, I wasnt sure what to expect. While I have enjoyed some items from Aldis Live G-Free line, others, like the pasta noodles, have been far less than satisfactory. At best, I was expecting a decent chocolate flavor with a slightly-sandpaper-ish texture, while at worst I was expecting a crumbling mess of something not at all resembling a brownie, either in taste or appearance.
Right after my wife completed the creation, the first thing I noticed was hownormal it looked. It looked exactly like a glutenous version of a brownie, and I thought maybe my best-case scenario would be far surpassed. It even cut like a normal brownie, meaning the texture was pretty much spot-on as compared to a normal brownie. But just because it looks like a brownie doesnt mean it tastes like oneso how do these things taste?

It isnt currently listed as one of their everyday gluten-free items, but we have seen both frozen and take & bake gluten-free pizzas listed in Aldi weekly ad on a regular basis. We suggest stocking up when you see Aldi gluten-free pizza if its an item you enjoy!
Why Start With A Cake Mix
During the holiday season, I make many, many dozens of cookies. But cookies are by far the easiest dessert to throw together when someones had a bad day and needs a pick-me-up. Starting with a cake mix means that I can have cookies baked in less than 10 minutes longer than the time it takes for them to bake in the oven.
In my second cookbook, Gluten Free on a Shoestring Quick & Easy, I have a whole chapter on make-your-own baking mixes. I promise I understand that the whole point of purchasing a ready-made cake mix is the convenience, though!
But it can be difficult to find a really good quality boxed gluten free cake mix, mostly because the flours tend to be gritty and the blends unbalanced . But if you have one that you love, use that! Just make sure that its a full 16 ounces of mix.

How To Make Caramel Brownie Ice Cream
OK, onto this delicious recipe! To make this Caramel Brownie Ice Cream youre going to need:
- ALDI Earth Grown Vegan Chocolate Frozen Non-Dairy Dessert: softened, or your preferred Chocolate Ice cream. I used 2 pints to fill a 9×5 loaf pan.
- Salted Coconut Caramel : its delicious, dairy-free and vegan!
- Marshmallows: you can cut ALDI Bakers Corner Marshmallows into pieces or buy mini marshmallows.
- Brownies: my tried and true, fool-proof recipe of gluten-free brownies . Theyre the best! Or any boxed brownie mix works too.
- Patience: after you assemble all your ingredients and make your brownies, youre gonna need a few hours for the ice cream to freeze 100%. So if youre planning a get-together, make sure to prep ahead of time.
Overall Thoughts On Aldis Live Gfree Products
Overall I thought that both products were a great value and were incredibly tasty! Id say the pancakes were just as good as regular pancakes and the pizza was not quite as good as regular homemade pizza crust, BUT definitely a lot better than 3 of the 4 restaurant gluten-free pizza crusts I have and comparable to the more expensive Glutino brand crust I have had before.
Im stoked that Aldi is offering more gluten free options, along with their other healthy choices. I love that Aldi gets shopping on a budget doesnt mean you sacrifice healthy options and Im excited to continue shopping there as they roll out even more awesome food at awesome prices!

The Best Gluten Free Brownie
We love brownies. They are one of our favorite quick and easy desserts. I have tried quite a few different brownie recipes and store bought mixes since going gluten free.
Last year my family decided that we wanted to find the best gluten free brownie. In our quest to find the best gluten free brownie I am giving different recipes and mixes a try.
I have also experimented to find the best flour for gluten free brownies.

One criticism you guys feed back to me about Aldi is that you cant do a full shop there for example, they dont have gluten-free bread.
Fortunately, Aldi is one step closer to full shop territory these days as they now have tons of different gluten-free pasta options!

Does Aldi Have A Gluten
Aldi does not have a dedicated gluten-free section in its stores. Occasionally you will find Special Buys bundled together on an endcap, but that is just for products available for a limited time.
Aldi gluten-free products will be found with their regular, non-gluten-gree counterparts. For instance, the gluten-free brownie mix will be in the same aisle as all the other baking products and mixes. You can recognize an item as gluten-free if the packaging has a light blue background with the brand name liveGfree.
