HipBao

Hits: The filling in a curry beef bao had good flavor, and the potstickers were the best of the dumplings.

Misses: The kitchen couldn’t execute the dish on the specials menu, we received two cold bao, and many of the other dumplings and bao we tried tasted mostly of raw dough. Service was spotty at best. Read full review here

A Note On Vegetarian Hot Dogs

If you follow a gluten-free diet, avoid vegetarian hot dogs. Many of these hot dogs or sausages contain wheat gluten or wheat protein, which are gluten ingredients.

Im sad to say that eating a vegetarian sausage was one of my defining moments of understanding that I was gluten intolerant. Enjoy a hot dog made with meat or find another food instead if youre trying to avoid meat in your diet.

Omaha Steaks Review

Bottom Line

Omaha Steaks has a huge variety of delicious food but they lack transparency when it comes to their meat quality, USDA grading, and sourcing practices.

Pros

They offer a huge amount of variety, making it a good choice for big parties.

Their premade options are delicious .

It could make for a good gift.

Cons

The pricing can be confusing and annoying.

They lack transparency when it comes to meat quality, USDA grading, and sourcing.

Their packaging is all styrofoam and plasticnot environmentally friendly at all.

Over the years weve reviewed dozens of different meat delivery boxes but none of them are as well-known as Omaha Steaks.

Chances are youve either received Omaha Steaks as a gift, youve given it as a gift, or youve at least seen their ads. This is because theyre one of the oldest meat delivery services out there. But does that make them the best?

Today were unboxing, taste testing, and reviewing Omaha Steaks to find out if one of the oldest meat delivery services is really worth it.

The story of Omaha Steaks starts, not in the United States, but rather in Latvia.

Due to immense popularity in the town, the company began growing and in 1952 they became one of the first butchers to advertise mail order steaks in magazines.

The Brooklyn Hot Dog Company Smoked & Uncured Classic Beef Hot Dogs

While the other hot dogs were shorter and thick, The Brooklyn Hot Dog Companys were long and skinny, stretching beyond the confines of your average bun. The casing was thicker and had a good snap, appearing slightly wrinkly when grilledas for the flavor? It was smoky and salty, complemented by a chewy texture.

Nice length and texture, an editor wrote. I think this one is actually the most classic of the dogs.

      Are Hot Dogs Gluten

Hot dogs can be gluten-free, and some can contain gluten. Its not easy to say that all hot dogs are safe for a gluten-free diet, because some brands contain binders and fillers with gluten ingredients.

When you follow a gluten-free diet, your best bet is to review a list of brands of gluten-free hot dogs and always look for a gluten-free label on the packaging before buying.

Some hot dogs have a gluten-free label while others have no gluten ingredients and still dont have a label. If you are extremely sensitive to gluten or have an allergy, youll want to avoid anything without a gluten-free label.

If you can handle trace amounts of gluten, you may be okay with these brands, but youll want to do so at your own risk.
