Is Kix Gluten Free
Kix cereal is basically a slightly sweetened crispy corn puff. While Kix is not labeled gluten free, nor could I find any gluten-free information about Kix on the Kix website, it doesnt look like Kix contains any gluten-y ingredients.
Kix is made from whole grain corn, corn meal, sugar, salt, brown sugar syrup, and baking soda. As you can see, Nima is all smiles, which means the device did not find any hidden gluten.
How To Make Lucky Charms Treats
Just like classic Rice Krispies treats, you can make these goodies in the microwave OR on the stove.
Stove Top: If you want to go the more traditional route and use the stove top you definitely can. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the marshmallows and heat until gooey and smooth. Stir frequently so the mixture does not scorch on the bottom. Remove from heat and add to the cereal and mix.
Microwave: Using the microwave is a great alternative to the stove top. Simply place the butter and marshmallows in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat the mixture in 20-30 second increments, stirring in between, until gooey and smooth. Complete the recipe as written.
Once the cereal and melted mallows are combined, pour them into a greased 9Ã13 pan. Pat it down with wax paper or spray some cooking spray on your clean hands and press down.

Are Lucky Charms Honey Clovers Cereal Gluten
Lucky Charms Honey Clovers cereal has no gluten ingredients, but the brand does not label this product as gluten-free either. If you follow a gluten-free diet, Id be aware that this product may contain traces of gluten and to use your best judgement about whether or not this is a good choice for you and your diet.
What Are Cereal Bars
Cereal bars are somewhat new to me that I learned about rather recently.
They are made primarily with cereal and mixed with things like nut butters, honey, and maple syrup to get them sticky enough to form into bars.
These are made with Lucky Charms Cereal which make them fun for St. Patricks Day as a snack, dessert, or easy breakfast.
I love how the marshmallows bring pops of color and fun marshmallow shapes to the bars!

Thoughts On Are Lucky Charms Gluten
I have noticed that I do better Oat free, but 100% gave up. I tried going grain free just to heal my gut, but I have so many food allergies and intolerances plus thyroid issues, that I cant do Paleo diet or grain free. I just limit my oats. I also have Acid Reflux. Latest is they are calling Acid Reflux an allergic reaction to foods that cause it. In my case, night shades. They are saying we should just take our pills and keep eating nightshades. I decided to cut back and eat more beets instead. a.. condiments and salad dressing , cinnamon, banana. Eating out is fun with me! 😛 rofl
and yes, I am Celiac as well! My biggest pet peeve is that the USA defines Celiac as only eats roadkill. Vegan as alcoholic wheat lover with grass. Vegetarian as wheat grass egg lover with alcohol for good measure. Even noodles and company insist that tofu should be purposefully cross-contaminated with gluten.
Is Crispix Gluten Free
Crispix cereal is made of crunchy corn on one side and crispy rice on the other. Its not labeled gluten free.
Crispix ingredients include rice, milled corn, sugar, salt, molasses, brown rice syrup, baking soda, and turmeric extract. None of the ingredients noted seem to contain gluten, however, brown rice syrup may contain gluten despite its innocuous name.

Sure enough, Crispix tested positive for gluten when put to the Nima Sensor test. See that wheat symbol and Gluten Found message? That means Nima found gluten.

Lucky Charms joins a number of General Mills’ other brands with gluten-free versions, including Chex and Cheerios. In this case, the company turned an old brand into a gluten-free product.

To solve that, General Mills has created a process that sorts “out the small amount of wheat, rye and barley in our supply of whole oats that are inadvertently introduced at the farms where the oats are grown, or during transportation of the whole oats to our mill,” according to the company.
General Mills has applied for patents on their unique sorting process that ensures General Mills gluten-free cereals meet the FDA’s strict guideline for gluten free, said Emily Thomas, senior marketing manager for Lucky Charms in a press release.
One advantage of General Mills sorting process is that it allows the company to formulate gluten-free options without altering their recipes, or changing their flavor.
