What Kind Of White Chocolate Chips Can I Use

Gluten Free White Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

We used dairy free white chocolate chips for this recipe since we cant have dairy, but if you can have dairy, you can use your favorite white chocolate chips in this recipe .

If you need top 8 free white chocolate chips, Nestle Simply Delicious white chocolate chips are a good option, and the Pascha white chocolate chips.

Both of those brands have different textures and slightly different flavors. The Simply Delicious white chocolate chips dont hold their shape very well when they are baked, and they are slightly gritty texture from the tapioca starch in them.

I dont mind the flavor of the Simply Delicious white chocolate chips when they are unbaked, but dont like the taste of them as much once they are baked.

But when theyre baked in these cookies they are fine since they arent by themselves and are surrounded by delicious chocolate cookie

The Pascha dairy free white chocolate chips are a bit more waxy in texture than the Simply Delicious white chips and taste alright. I cant remember how they bake up and if they hold their shape or not .

If you dont have access to allergy friendly white chocolate chips, you can use regular allergy friendly chocolate chips instead for double chocolate chip cookies!

We love the Simply Delicious semi-sweet chocolate chips or the Enjoy Life semi-sweet chips .

Why Are My Gluten Free White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Cookies The Best

  • The first secret it to use melted butter instead of softened butter. Why do I use melted butter? Melted butter makes a beautifully chewy cookie with crisp edges, which is just how I like my white chocolate cookies!
  • My second tip is to use egg yolks instead of a whole egg. This also helps your finished gluten free white chocolate macadamia cookies to have a chewy texture and rich taste.
  • The third secret is to be very careful when measuring your flour. Ive found that especially when baking gluten-free, even just a little too much flour will yield a pile of crumbs or hockey puck. To accurately measure your flour, start by giving your gluten-free flour a quick shake or stir to aerate it a bit and ensure it is well combined. Then, scoop the gluten free flour into your measuring cup with a spoon before leveling it off. If you scoop your flour directly with the measuring cup youll pack more flour in and wont have the same results.

Notes About Other Brands

  • Nestle: Nestle Toll House has an allergy-friendly chocolate chip variety that claims to be free from wheat, but it does not explicitly state that it is gluten-free. It should be fine, but I am waiting on the company to reply to my email before adding it to this list.
  • Guittard: Guittard chocolate chips are labeled gluten-free by some retailers like Target, but on the Guittard website, I found allergen information that said all of the baking chips are not safe for those with wheat allergies because of cross contamination. For that reason, this brand is not included on the list.

    Are Chocolate Chips Gluten Free

Although chocolate should be naturally gluten-free, chocolate products are often produced in facilities that also produce gluten-containing foods, so usually, there is a chance of cross-contamination.

This list of gluten-free chocolate chips brands contains labeled or certified gluten-free chocolate chips. When a product is certified gluten-free, it has undergone testing to ensure there is no chance of cross-contamination, and if there are trace amounts of wheat, they are less than 20 parts per million. If a brand is just labeled gluten free by the company without being certified, it just has to be free from any gluten-containing ingredients. Those suffering from celiac disease should only choose the certified gluten free options.

At the beginning of the list, you will find popular brands of chocolate chips that offer certified gluten free options. Toward the bottom of the list will be less popular brands, those you can only find at select stores, or those simply labeled gluten-free by the company. If any of these brands are available for purchase online, I will link to an online retailer so you can have it shipped to your door!

Also, if the product has any other certifications , Ill list these as well for those following other special diets besides gluten-free.

How To Arrange Cookies On The Baking Sheet

This chocolate chip cookie recipe produces about 3 dozen small cookies. I recommend making them small, as show on my photo below, because it will be much easier to handle them once out of the oven. As well as you can exercise a better self control with smaller cookie size!

I recommend to line two baking sheets with parchment paper and drop the cookies in tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. If you have a good non-stick baking sheet you dont need to use parchment paper, but if you are worried about the cookies sticking to the pan parchment paper is the answer!

I baked my cookies for exactly 10 minutes. You are aiming for a pale yellowish color with slight browned edges. Let them cool a bit before attempting to eat them!

Chocolate Fudge White Chocolate Chip Cookies

sThese yummy, delish Chocolate Fudge White Chocolate Chip Cookies are loaded with rich & creamy white chocolate chips in soft fudgy chocolate cookies! They are quite irresistible! We’ve got Vegan & Gluten Free Options as well and they taste just as amazing!

They are an easy chocolate chip drop cookie version, like these classic Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies, except we reversed the butter cookie to chocolate and the semi-sweet chocolate chips to white chocolate chips.

I love eating white chocolate chips by the handful. Quite often, actually for a quick chocolate fix, it does the trick. Of course, by adding them in cookies, creamy white chocolate chips take these to another surprising level, providing these cookies with a delicious mild white chocolate flavor paired with a dark chocolate fudgy brownie-like cookie.

    Gluten Free Macadamia Cookies

    White Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of the things that makes these gluten-free white chocolate macadamia cookies the best is the combination of flavors. You have your buttery, vanilla-y cookie, white chocolate chips, and marshmallow like macadamias.

Have you ever tried a raw macadamia nut? It melts in your mouth like a cloud of marshmallows.

Although the macadamias in this recipe are toasted, they still have that marshmallow effect when enjoyed in this delicious cookie.

When I bake these cookies I like to use good vanilla extract, and when I splurge, vanilla paste.

Up until I started working Rodelle products, I hadn’t tried vanilla paste. Vanilla paste to me is the top-shelf version of vanilla. It’s concentrated and has a smooth, rich finish – almost like a fine bourbon or aged wine .

Theres something about fall that has me craving all the cookies. I typically keep things classic with chocolate chip cookies, but felt like switching things up this time with a pumpkin cookie recipe!

These gluten-free cookies are perfectly sweet, have a subtle hint of cinnamon & ginger, and have chunks of walnuts and white chocolate chips in every bite. Theyre the perfect fall cookie, and have been a family favorite all month.

Which Flour Is Best For Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Which gluten-free flour you use is important.

I tested this recipe using my gluten free flour blend which has equal parts white rice flour, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, and potato starch.

I would recommend using a similar blend. If you use a gluten free flour that has more starch or has too much xanthan gum in it your cookies wont spread the same way.

If you use a blend that already has xanthan gum in it, please omit the xanthan gum in the recipe.

If you double up on the xanthan gum, your cookies will be gummy.

I think this recipe would work well with Ryzes Blue Bag. I havent tested it yet but based on my experience with Ryze I expect it would turn out deliciously.

If you use Ryzes Blue Bag, be sure to omit the xanthan gum.

I expect that Bobs Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten-Free Flour would also work well in this recipe.

There are lots of great gluten-free flour blends now days. What a magical time to be living, right?

Way better than a decade ago when I first started baking gluten-free!
