Winter Vegan Meal Plan: Day 3

I love these Freezer-Friendly Oatmeal Cups. Theyre fantastic for prepping ahead of a busy week! I always play it safe and double them since they freeze so well. My whole family loves them as a breakfast or snack! It was also pretty much guaranteed that I would include at least one butternut squash recipe in the winter meal planI love winter squash recipes so much!

Gluten Free Meal Plan and Grocery List Feb 7th

Tikka Masala and Coconut RiceI look forward to this dinner all day long when I know its on the menu! I would probably save any leftover Shredded Brussels Sprouts Salad to have alongside dinner as well. So many good flavors and colors happening in these meals! And since I firmly believe in the positive impact chocolate has on a day, I chose it for meal one on day one. Enjoy!

American Diabetes Association Gluten

Day Gluten Free Meal Plan Week 1

May I present the first ever 7-day gluten free meal plan from My Gluten Free Guide! I am very excited to share this with you guys, after I had so many requests for a weekly dinner planner over on my Instagram. The major disclaimer I should state is that I am not a dietitian or any sort of food expert. This is a simple evening meal plan featuring the recipes we eat regularly for our dinner as a family, with a good variety of foods eaten across the week. I am a home cook sharing some of my favourite meals :).

Winter Vegan Meal Plan: Day 4

No matter when in the winter you make these pancakes, theyre guaranteed to make you smile! My kids get the biggest kick out of fun shapes and animals, but theyre just as delicious in the classic pancake circles. For lunch, I topped my Speedy Broccoli Soup with Pecan Crumble, which is a newer recipe thats so good as a savory topping on soups. Finish the day with Mushroom Fettuccine and youll go to sleep with a smile on your face!

If I told my grandma 25 years ago: Grandma you need to do something about that arthritis and cut out dairy and gluten asap. Shed look at me as if Im crazy and then probably beat me with a stick forcing me to get out of her house. And shed be right.

Every day she had bread and cheese, then something we called porridge which was made out of milk, bread, sugar and butter. And then wed also have our traditional salad which was made out of cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, peppers and something similar to feta cheese that my grandma all grew and made herself. With a whole lot of bread that was fresh from the bakery.

My grandmas cheese was made out of goat milk that my mom HATED with a ton of passion. The milk, the yogurt, the cheese tasted nothing like the products you can find today. They werent creamy and too pleasant. I remember the yogurt was super sour and had a very distinct smell thats not for everyone.

It goes beyond words.

I am still working my way through all of your comments and emailseach one is just so special to me, its taking some time. But I will get there.

In that post, I mentioned how I changed Maxs diet by removing dairy and glutenwhich isnt exactly the easiest thing to do at first, but for us, its been so worth it. This isnt true for every child with Autism, but for Max, we saw significant gains in language, attention, and social awareness when we changed his diet. His GI symptoms also cleared up.

Its fascinating how much food affects our body and our mind.

So for this weeks Meal Plan, I am sharing some gluten and dairy free favorites of oursits become a lot easier for me to cook this way and keep everyone happy at meal time! Enjoy!

Even though it sounds a little silly to make a smoothie in the middle of winter, I actually love it! You can usually find me with a smoothie in one hand and a warm drink in the other, sipping back and forth between the two. This Mint Chocolate Smoothie would be so good with a Gingerbread Steamer, Chai Latte, or Blender Hot Cocoa, all of which Ive included in this Vegan Winter Meal Plan as drink options below! For the lunch menu Ive got filling, flavorful, and hearty Split Pea & Turmeric Red Lentil Veggie Soup, which will create leftovers youll be craving tomorrow . Finally, stuffed acorn squash is a dinner that feels special and nourishing! Its one of my favorites.

How To Use This Flexitarian Gluten Free Meal Plan

  • Use the meal plan and provided shopping list for 4 nights worth of dinners, including simple side dishes.
  • Plan on 1 night of leftovers ~ I call this hodge podge night at our house, because I put out all the leftovers from the week, and everyone gets to pick and choose what they want to eat.
  • For the remaining 2 nights of the week, plan on eating out, ordering take out, or planning a super simple meal from staples in your pantry ~ .
  • Ive also included prep/cook time for each recipe along with dietary substitutions , plus notes, tips, and my favorite product recommendations.
  • Print the grocery shopping list if desired. Note: Ive included ingredients for a family of four, with gluten free options for 4 + vegetarian options for 1. If you follow a low FODMAP or paleo diet, please note tips/ingredient swaps and adjust shopping list as needed.

    Gluten Free Meal Plan with 30 Minute Meals (or Less ...

    Day 2 calls for a Sunshine Smoothie! I wanted to be sure to include an immunity boost since we all need it this time of year. You could also try my Blender Turmeric Ginger Immunity Booster Drink! The Three Bean Chili and Vegan Greek Sheetpan Dinner are two more all-time favorites of mine, and I love the idea of enjoying them both on the same day.

    Day : Jalapeno & Cheddar Turkey Burgers

    Burger night is a favorite at our house, especially because I can easily swap in a veggie burger for my vegetarian SiSi . These Jalapeno Cheddar Turkey Burgers from Hungry Hobby are totally calling out my name this week!

    Serving Suggestions: If you make withe the bun, serve with a side salad. Or, if you skip the bum and go with a lettuce wrap, serve with sweet potato fries on the side.
