A few years ago, my Mom began experimenting with recipes for gluten-free breaded chicken tenders. She finally found one which stuck, and I loved it so much that I would take the chicken tenders in my lunch to school everyday, and I was even happy to eat them from dinner when I got home! Much to my dismay, she stopped making those chicken tenders, and no chicken tender I have tried has measured up to the ones she made. Unfortunately, for me, these Gluten-Free Chicken Breast Tenders by Applegate Naturals fall into the category of not quite making the mark. They are natural, healthy, and free of GMOs, which is great. However, I thought that the breading was too thick, too bland, and too grainy. My overall impression of these chicken tenders was that they were just okay, nothing special.
