Banquet Original Chicken Nuggets
Don’t throw these nuggets on your plate at your next banquet. The little chicken patties contain three forms of MSG and sodium tripolyphosphate , a chemical that is used to preserve foods as well as to keep pigments in paint evenly dispersed and as a tanning agent for leather. And even though the FDA considers it generally recognized as safe, STPP is a registered pesticide and listed as an air contaminant under California’s Occupational and Safety Healthy act because STPP is toxic to the lungs with prolonged exposure. Fast Fixin’ Chicken Breast Nuggets
From the outside, Fast Fixin’ Chicken Breast Nuggets look beautiful. If you crack a nugget in half to inspect it further, you’ll see perfectly white meat in the center that has no shortage of juices. Sadly, if you judge this book by its cover, you’ll be let down.
The fatal flaw of Fast Fixin’ Chicken Breast Nuggets is the breading. These nuggets have breading made from whole wheat, which in itself isn’t a deal-breaker. However, the breading has an overpowering whole wheat flavor that’s made even more unpalatable due to having a slightly sweet aftertaste. Sure, you may like to dip your nuggets in a sweet dipping sauce, but you should have control over it. If you use dipping sauces with these nuggets, their inherent sweetness will fight with the flavor of your sauce. If you don’t dip the nuggets in anything, the whole wheat flavor will soon be overwhelming. Select another brand.

How To Cook With Frozen Chicken Nuggets
Yes, you can definitely just heat these up in the oven and serve as-is. However, because the serving sizes are typically pretty small, you need to incorporate frozen chicken nuggets into a larger meal.
These types of convenience foods usually work in your favor the most when you use them as a shortcut: buffalo chicken wraps, for example, come together a lot quicker when you’re not cooking the breaded chicken bites from scratch.
While frozen chicken nuggets aren’t as healthy as what you bake at home, buying them is often a better choice than stopping at McDonald’s for dinner. Why? Because you can boost the nutrition content of your meal. Pair chicken nuggets with fresh veggies or a salad and a healthy whole grain, like brown rice or quinoa, instead of opting for fries and a milkshake at the drive-thru window.

Can I Make These Gluten Free Chicken Tenders In The Air Fryer
Yes! In fact, Ive made gluten free chicken nuggets in the air fryer. You can use that same method to make these tenders crispy in the air fryer.
Remember that an air fryer is really just a small, powerful convection oven. With the easy batter-and-breadcrumb method described in this recipe, in a hot enough oven, these chicken tenders can more easily be made in the ovenor even the toaster oven!
Plus, even if you have a very large air fryer, you wont be able to fit all the pieces of chicken in there at once. So youll have to make multiple batches.

Raised & Rooted Plant Based Nuggets
Raised & Rooted Plant Based Nuggets don’t bury the lede when it comes to stating what’s unique about these nuggets. If you’re following a plant-based diet plan, you’ll be happy to learn that these things are made with a blend of golden flaxseed and pea protein. If your idea of chicken nugget perfection is Chicken McNuggets from McDonald’s, you’ll be even happier when you see that Raised & Rooted Plant Based Nuggets are a dead ringer for McNuggets. Put them side by side, and you literally can’t tell them apart.
Unfortunately, the beauty of these nuggets is only skin deep or breading deep, in this case. Take a bite, and instead of McNuggets-esque goodness, you’re met with flavor that is entirely bland. The texture is impressive and a lot like you’ll find at McDonalds, but the blandness makes these nuggets impossible to recommend.
Be warned that even though these nuggets are indeed made from plant-based ingredients, this is not a vegan-friendly food due to the presence of egg whites.

How To Make Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets
Start with a pound of chicken breast and cut into long strips around an inch wide.
Then cut each strip into 1-inch pieces.
Mix together gluten-free flour, nutritional yeast, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
My favorite gluten-free and dairy-free flour mixes are Better Batter gluten-free flour and Pamelas Artisan Blend but you can use your preferred brand. You may be able to find nutritional yeast in the bakery aisle at your local grocery store as its becoming more commonly used. If not you can buy it online at Amazon.
Set up a little assembly line to dip your chicken pieces in. Spritz the basket of the air fryer with avocado or olive oil using an oil sprayer. Begin by dipping each piece of chicken into a bowl of almond milk and then into the gluten-free flour mixture. Make sure to completely coat the chicken in the flour mixture.
Then place in the air fryer in a single layer with some space between each piece so that the air will flow easily around them.
Use an oil sprayer to spritz as much of the top of the chicken with the oil as you can. You dont want a heavy coating but enough to wet the flour mixture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Then bake at 400° for 4 minutes. Pull out the air fryer basket and turn each piece of chicken over and spritz with oil again. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 4 more minutes at 400°.
Your chicken is done! Just like that.
You can serve your chicken nuggets with your favorite dipping sauce.
The Origin Of This Recipe
To start with, here is where this Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets Recipe came from ……I found the inspiration for this recipe in Simple Choices for Healthier Eating, a cookbook that was recommended to my by Linda, the owner of Whole Approach.
Whole Approach focuses on providing products and resources for those suffering from systemic candida. Unfortunately ), I became acquainted with Whole Approach about 3 years ago when it became quite clear that candida had a pretty bad hold on me.
I had to move on from Whole Approach when it was obvious that I had more going on than candida, but I have stayed pretty close to some form of the candida diet since then, and one of my boys has as well. Most likely another will be joining us soon as we have seen the effects of too many carbs on him.
In any case, Linda told me what a great book this is — filled with simple, tasty, and pleasing dishes. I couldn’t agree more.

Even though there’s a lot to admire here on the ingredient list, this pick isn’t one of our best chicken nuggets because of the high sodium content and MSG, which is a chemo-inducer of obesity, type-2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. But there are fewer calories and higher protein in a serving of these nuggets than many other brands, keeping them in the top half of the ranking.

Don’t be stuck with those expensive store-bought nuggets! Save money and your taste buds with The Best Gluten Free Chicken Nuggets Recipe. Make them ahead and freeze for quick dinners.
My kids are typical kids and they love chicken nuggets. The only problem is we need them gluten free and the store bought nuggets aren’t affordable. We have tried many brands and even splurged on the frozen ones from time to time, but we always come back to THE BEST Gluten Free Chicken Nuggets.
Let’s Make Some Nuggets
Step one: Preheat oven. Assemble your cooling rack on top of the cookie sheet. Set aside.
Step two: Prep the chicken. Pound your chicken using a meat pounder so that it has an overall even thickness. Avoid pounding too thin, as we want the nuggets to have some thickness to them. Cut chicken into about 1 inch cubes.
Step 3: Prep the dipping stations. Combine the gluten free bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and all spices in a bowl. Mix well. Combine the butter and skim milk in a second bowl. Mix.
Next, get ready to bread!
OPTION 1: Set up your bowls very close to each other. Sometimes it helps to place a piece of waxed paper underneath for easier clean up. Dip the chicken cube first in the butter mixture, and then in the breadcrumb mixture. Tap off extra bread crumbs and place on the prepared cooling rack.
Option 2: This is the super secret hack to make dipping easy:
Place your chicken cubes in a medium bowl. Pour the butter mixture over the chicken and mix well using a spoon. Next place the bread crumb mixture into a large gallon zip-lock bag.
Using tongs, remove about half of the nuggets coated in butter, place in the zip-lock bag, seal and shake until evenly coated! Remove the chicken from the bag piece by piece, and place on the cooling rack. Repeat the process with your second half of the chicken.
I used the zip-lock bag method and it took 10 minutes. SO easy and very little mess!
Bake, dip in your favorite sauce & enjoy!!

Member’s Mark Chicken Nuggets
Many attributes of Member’s Mark Chicken Nuggets are unquestionably attractive. These things are relatively inexpensive, the meat is extremely juicy, and each nugget has a lot of breading on it. This product is also made in the United States and has no added steroids or hormones.
Ultimately, though, you will be unsatisfied with your selection if you purchase Member’s Mark Chicken Nuggets. First of all, they’re made with a combination of chicken breast and rib meat, which has a negative impact on the flavor. It tastes like the low-quality chicken nuggets you used to get at the cafeteria of your elementary school. The meat is juicy, but the quality is obviously lacking. Furthermore, while the thick breading is enjoyable at first, eventually, dealing with all that breading becomes a chore.
If you’re going to buy chicken-powered Member’s Mark food from Sam’s Club, go with either the Member’s Mark Southern Style Chicken Sandwich or the Member’s Mark Southern Style Chicken Bites. Both of those items are worthy of a spot on your Sam’s Club bucket list.
