Its so hard to pick just four favorite items off their menu, theres so much there to unpack and so many different selections to pick from. We wont lie though, its something of a relief to find out that this is a challenge we had to face. So many restaurants slap on a few gluten-free items or tell you to order your burger or sandwich without the bun, leaving half the meal sitting in the kitchen. When youre dining out, you want a full meal, and thats what Yard House offers.

Theres something thats a classic offering at every backyard barbecue ever, and thats deviled eggs. Yard House provides an incredible version of deviled egg made with their house mix to fill the eggs. Yard House is well known for the quality of all of its food, but its Rib Eye Steak deserves a special mention. The quality of their steak is far above and beyond the standard fare and is prepared with a marinade that doesnt contain gluten. Yard House Even Offers A Bunch Of Gf And Vegan Choices
It isnt unusual or uncommon for folks that want a gluten-free choice at the Yard House to also be interested in either vegetarian or vegan friendly meals that are gluten-free, too.
Yard House accommodates these customers with both vegan and vegetarian meal choices. The restaurant uses a lot of Beyond Meat products as well as vegetable swaps whenever possible, doing their level best to make sure your meal is vegan, vegetarian, and/or GF.
Once again, though, remember that the meals prepared at Yard House are all prepared in the same exact kitchen space on the same kitchen surfaces. Theres no way to guarantee that your gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan meal wont pick up some cross-contamination in the process of being prepared.

Yard Houses reputation for great food and a great family experience was predicated on menus like this. They werent content to throw scraps to those suffering from gluten sensitivity, and they wanted to ensure that their menu offerings were something that theyd be excited to order. No one gets left behind on the Yard House menu, instead everyone gets to bond with their family, enjoy a fine meal, and while the night away in comfort.
New Menu Features And Gluten Free Finds At Yard House
A few weeks ago Andy and I checked out some new menu items and gluten free options available at Yard House in Roseville. You might remember my visit to Yard House shortly after they opened back in 2011. We kicked off our meal with this round of drinks. On the left is a glass of Zardetto Prosecco and on the right is a glass of Honig Sauvignon Blanc.
Then it was on to decide what to order. If you are reading this website, you are either eating a gluten-free diet, or you are thinking about eating gluten-free. Yard House makes it easy because there is a separate menu you can ask for when you are seated. The menu features many of items from appetizers to salads and burgers that can be served wrapped in lettuce instead of on a bun, as well as three different gluten-sensitive beers.
Our first appetizer was the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Ripped Potatoes . Its featured on the snack portion of the menu, but can easily be shared if you are going to be ordering an entrée, too. The dishs description was accurate as both items were very crispy, yet soft on the inside. The vegetables were highlighted by just the right amount of seasoning and were dressed with the Malt Vinegar Aioli.
For dessert, we enjoyed two more glasses of wine, mine a glass of Protocolo Rose Tierra de Castilla .

The Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds served at Yard House are sure to be an unforgettable part of your meal.
I have a weakness for this guilty pleasure appetizer and try to order it whenever the occasion arises.
Served with honey hot sauce and horseradish aïoli, this dish does not lack flavor. If you stick to a vegetarian diet, youre in luck. This dish and the dips they are served with are vegetarian.
These cheese curds start at only $11.49 and 1,980 per order. Make sure to bring some company to help you with this one!
Its the perfect shareable plate to kick off a night out with friends. Yard House recommends following up your cheese curds with some of their grilled Korean beef tacos or kale and romaine salad.

Yard House Goes The Extra Mile
More restaurants are beginning to take note of their customer base that has to eat gluten-free. I knew that when I traveled to Chicago, finding restaurants that would have food that I could eat would be easier than it is around my hometown. Thank goodness for major metro areas that understand these food allergies. Even bigger kudos going out to the restaurants that put out gluten-free menus to help with the decision making process.
My friend Heather loves Yard House! So, when we arrived at her place around dinner time, this was one of the options out there. Before even leaving her apartment, she had pulled up the restaurant online. Originally, she had wanted to take me there for their Gardein menubut since having to go gluten-free, Gardein was out of the question. Sadly enough, since its rarer still to find a restaurant that offers a whole section of vegetarian/vegan entrees! I give major props to Yard House for that as well.
The gluten-sensitive menu was simple, basic, and gave direction on how to order the dish , and while they cant guarantee there is no cross-contamination, they can say that the options in the menu are catering to those with a gluten sensitivity and that if I had any questions to go ahead and ask. With that, he left us to look over the menu and make our decisions.
Yard Houses menu is quite varied and really does have a little of something for everyone. Including this gluten-sensitive vegetarian. Now thats a win in my book.

Yes The Yard House Offers A Full
As we just mentioned a moment ago, Yard House does in fact have a full-blown gluten-free and gluten sensitive menu for customers to pick and choose from a menu that offers a lot of the same fare from the normal menu, just with some minor gluten-free twists.
This menu is available upon request. All you have to do is ask the server to bring you a GF menu and theyll swap your standard menu out right there on the spot.
There is something you need to know about the GF options from Yard House, though.
While the meal choices on the GF menu are in fact gluten-free, they are not made in a 100% gluten-free environment. These meal choices are going to be made right alongside dishes that have gluten in them, with absolutely zero guarantee that some cross-contamination isnt going to occur.
Though this isnt ideal, its a whole lot better than other restaurants that dont have any GF menus .
Yard House is doing everything they can to accommodate customers with celiac disease or sensitivities to gluten.
