Another staple that I always have on hand, Trader Joes frozen organic brown rice is perfect for days when you want rice but dont have the extra time to cook it. Or you dont want the mess. Have You Heard All The Rage About Trader Joes Cauliflower Gnocchi
If not, get prepared to hop on the bandwagon!
This healthy alternative to traditional wheat gnocchi is made with about 75% cauliflower- no gluten, dairy, grains or eggs! Its found in the freezer section of Trader Joes, and at under $3 a package, it quickly became one of my favorite Trader Joes gluten-free finds!
Ive used this gnocchi a zillion times, and I can honestly say that this cauliflower creation tastes just like traditional gnocchi. Pillowy soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Just dont follow the package instructions! Trust me on this one, mine turned to mush. Ive successfully cooked it in a stovetop skillet with some butter, on a sheet pan like this recipe, or Ive heard that the air fryer works great too!
So, whether youre in love with Trader Joes cauliflower gnocchi or just jumping on the train, this meal is the perfect way to use it. It doesnt even need to be defrosted! Just toss it with your veggies, chicken sausage, and seasonings then its ready to pop in the oven. Super simple!
Combining everything on one pan always makes for an easy weeknight meal. For me, one of the most frustrating things about food allergies is how much more time it takes just to buy groceries! Gone are the days when you can just breeze into any grocery store, buy whatever catches your eye and run back out. Now, Im always clogging up the store aisles, reading labels. We, the food allergic, need to use up precious brain space to remember things like whether sodium stearoyl lactylate or calcium lactate contain dairy.* We must use our iPhones at the store to find out whether that products natural flavor contains gluten or other allergens. My poor eyes are going bad from all this reading! But, its necessary, of course. We cant make everything that we eat from scratch you might as well chain me to the kitchen island and give me holsters for my spatulas and cookie scoops. For my mental sanity, finding safe and yummy packaged foods is a necessity.
Which is why Im providing this list of grocery items we buy at Trader Joes, along with info on ingredients and food allergy disclosures. We have multiple food allergies in my house so some of these products are for my son, some are for me, and some we can both enjoy. Hopefully this helps someone, even a little bit! I love Trader Joes, you love Trader Joes, everyone loves Trader Joes! Trader Joes is everyones favorite speciality grocery store, and their selection of vegan and vegetarian items are superb. I just started a gluten-free journey recently so I wanted to seek out the best gluten-free items at Trader Joes that you can pick up today.
These are all items that Ive personally tried and loved, so you know theyre going to be good! I even included a few meal prep ideas here for the gluten-free Trader Joes food listed below, so give those a try too when you get the chance.

1. Trader Joes Corn Tortillas
I love to buy this pack of corn tortillas and use them for my popular veggie tacos recipe. Sometimes Ill also make homemade tortilla chips by brushing them with a little oil and baking them. Pro tip: these corn chips are super fresh which means they spoil quickly. If youre not going to use them within a few days, store them in the freezer.
2. Green Goddess Salad Dressing
This salad/everything dressing is so perfect for literally anything youll ever make . And I LOVE that there are only six simple ingredients that are printed right there on the front of the label. Use this dressing for all your Buddha Bowls, Green Goddess Bowls, or whatever bowl youre in the mood for today. I also like to pour it all over rice and sautéed tofu for a lazy weeknight dinner.

Chili Lime Chicken Burgers + Plain Turkey Burgers
Ok, youre kind of getting a bonus product favorite with this one. But I had to mention them both. The chicken lime burgers are amazing. They always seem to come out super tender. And theyre full of great flavor. They do cost a little bit more than the plain turkey burgers though. So normally, I buy the turkey burgers. And theyre great to have on hand when we have a busy day and just need an easy meal. Both are awesome and worth trying!

Trader Joes Fully Cooked Falafel
Both vegan and gluten free, these are another convenient staple to have on hand. Throw them into a wrap, serve them atop of a salad, or even simply dip them as a snack. Love that these have 6 grams of fiber per serving!
A few tips: to keep them from tasting dry, cover them with a damp paper towel when heating. And to serve with an easy tahini sauce, mix tahini, lemon juice, garlic powder, water and salt to your liking. Kids may enjoy dipping them in ketchup:).

Trader Joes Organic Frozen Broccoli Florets
Sure I love fresh broccoli, but honestly, sometimes frozen just works easily. I keep this on hand for busy nights when I may not have a side vegetable to serve. I also love to throw it into smoothies as it doesnt taste like much and adds so much nutritional value to it.
For a simple meal idea, cook up some of the cauliflower gnocchi with these broccoli florets, top it with marinara and add some hemp seeds to the top. Yum!

Vegan Ranch Crunch Salad Kit
