There are over a dozen different pizzas to try at Cosmos Ristorante & Pizzeria. You would think the restaurants most well-known pizza, Cosmos famous pizza, is the one to go with, but thats not necessarily what wed recommend. Its more a garbage pie topped with everything from meatballs to banana peppers to anchovies to spinach, this pizza is certainly unlike any other. Meh.

For our taste, the eggplant Napoli pizza is heaven, but there are others to try: Grandmas pizza, the pesto pizza, or the quattro stagioni pizza.

Youll have a choice of a traditional round pizza in either 16 or 18, or the thick crusted Detroit-style pie that comes in small or large. Add in the incredible selection of toppings for both and you can make a pie tailored to your personal taste.

Some of our favorites include the El Presidente with a not-too-thin crust and red sauce, the Dirty Old Man with house made sausage and pickled long hots, and the Trippin Balls with LowBrow meatballs and banana peppers. OK, I know how that sounds. They should call it the Banana Hammock special!

I stick to the classic , but almost always get the one with Mozzarella di Bufala. Pizza in Naples is about quality, fresh ingredients and perfecting the basics. Youd never see a pineapple and ham pizza on a menu. Surprisingly, a lot of varieties wont have red sauce at all.
