I almost prefer fast food to any “slow” dining experience. I like to be able to see the server preparing everything. I like to be able to ask them to change gloves or use a special utensil if need be, or catch them if they try to put my sandwich on a bun and then justoopsie!take it off.
Fast food provides a certain peace of mind that I can’t get from other restaurants, and while there may be a risk of cross-contamination, I feel a lot more secure watching my sub-par food be prepared than I am trusting someone to remember to leave the bread off my plate at a more expensive sit-down restaurant.

Though there is no official statement from Taco Bell about whether or not their meat is gluten-free, we can assume there are no gluten ingredients in the meat. This is because a few of the taco menu items show up in the does not contain section when gluten is selected.

Taco Bell is usually really good at annotating on their ingredients statement when something is vegan and the ingredients list doesn’t say at the end, so I’m thinking there’s probably some animal product in the ‘natural flavors’ just like fire sauce.
Oh god damnit. The fire sauce has animals in it??
Just a heads up from their website: “Taco Bell defines ‘vegan’ as recipes that contain no animal ingredients. Its important to note, however, that in some restaurants we use the same frying oil to prepare menu items that may or may not contain animal ingredients.”
Yeah, I would just about never be able to eat out. I remember when I ordered a vegan option at a resturaunt and a nonvegan tried to tell me that because they served animal products that it wasn’t even vegan for me to be in there.
It’s not for allergy reasons and I’m not directly contributing by paying for those products so I have no issue with those things having cohabitated the same grill.

Well the chalupa shells and cinnamon twists are not gluten free and fried in the same oil. Plus they are potentially on the line with other gluten items, the tortillas.
So yes they are gluten free, but their preparation is not.

How To Make Loaded Nacho Fries
