A food processor makes quick work out of making cookie crumbs. Other methods, such as placing the cookies in a zip top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin works as well.
Mixing the cream cheese and pudding together before slowly mixing in the milk keeps the mixture from splattering too much.
Folding in the whipped topping by hand keeps the dessert light and airy.
Sprinkling the cookie crumbs by hand allows for even coverage on top of the dessert.
Swap out the vanilla pudding for chocolate for a different taste and recipe.

Checking Which Paleo Meals Walmart Has In Stock
One great feature of Walmart is that they can often let you know which products are available at a particular location. They even attempt to provide the level of detail of whether a particular Walmart location carries a particular frozen meal from a brand and whether it is currently in stock.
For example the closest store to me currently has Beetnik brands Organic Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry meals in stock, but to find frozen Beetnik Organic Beef Chili and Sweet Potato I would need to travel to a store 4 miles away that currently lists having them in stock.
This can be an incredibly useful feature of the walmart.com website, especially when we talk about specialty products like Paleo frozen meals. This will often save you the trip to a store only to find out a particular product is not in stock or worse yet running all over town to try to track down the meal you are looking for.

Putting Great Value Products To The Nima Sensor Test
Upon the request of a reader, I put two Great Value products to the Nima Sensor test. The Nima Sensor is a portable gluten-detecting device that enables you to test your food for hidden gluten. You can learn more about it in this article, 13 Things to Know About the Nima Sensor.
I first tested the Great Value gluten-free hamburger buns . As you can see, Nima is all smiles, which means it did not find any gluten.
I also tested the Cream of Mushroom soup, and again, Nima Sensor didnt find any gluten. I encourage you to read my article where I discuss store-bought gluten-free soups and share more Nima test results. The Progresso soup results may shock you as they shocked me!

I don’t know how Walmart keeps their gluten free foods priced so low, but it is worth the trip to shop at Walmart!!

Its been about five years, maybe more, since we learned that my youngest son had Celiac disease. We were told he would require a gluten-free diet. gluten can be really hard to find, since it can hide in many things and under many names and ingredients. At that time there werent very many gluten-free meals on the market, you had to learn what foods were gluten-free and cook. Finding safe snacks can be even more challenging then food in some ways. I learned that some Walmart stores were having a gluten-free event recently. I headed to mine hoping to find one but had no luck at my store that day. My understanding is theyre like the demos that pop up at other stores, so your store might have one. While there I decided to take a look around.
Stock Up On Naturally Gluten
Walmart has added a ton of organic fruits and vegetables, so stock up on these healthy, antioxidant rich foods, all which come at a good price.
Additionally, things like beans and rice are naturally gluten-free and you can get them at a GREAT price at Walmart as well.
I also found organic, sustainable and grass-fed meats are now available at Walmart, so dont pass up on the opportunity to save by purchasing these responsibly-sourced meats.

Applegate Well Carved Organic Asian Style Pork Meatballs

As more specialty products become available, consumers struggle to decipher labels and identify healthy options that are safe.
If youve noticed a plethora of gluten-free products in your favorite grocery store, you can thank celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, who swear by the diets health benefits. But for sufferers of celiac disease or gluten intolerance, the diet is non-negotiable, and finding safe options is an expensive and challenging proposition.
Celiac disease is an inherited autoimmune disease that interferes with the bodys ability to absorb nutrients and can cause life-threatening illnesses. According to the National Institutes of Health, it affects roughly two million Americans, or 1 percent of the population. Does Walmart Make Birthday Cakes
You can turn pretty much any of Walmarts customizable or ready-made cakes into affordable and attractive birthday cakes.
All you need is the right message, and all of Walmarts customizable cakes allow you add up to 50 characters.
Any of their sheet, round or cookie cakes can be customized for a birthday treat, and the largest one, a full sheet, can feed up to 96 people.
If you check out Walmarts custom cakes page, too, you can see that they have many ready-made cakes that would be perfect for a childs birthday.
Walmart also gives free smash cakes for toddler birthdays.
These are very little cakes that are intended for little ones to be able to smash with their hands and enjoy on their birthdays, without compromising the integrity of the actual cake.
You just have to spend at least $15 on the birthday cake or cupcakes. Ask for the accompanying smash cake when you order.
Does Walmart Carry Gluten Free Foods
As you know from my popular Costco Gluten Free Shopping post, product variety definitely varies by store. Walmart has a ton of great gluten free both in stores and online.
Let’s start by looking at how big the gluten free food section is at Walmart. Although Walmart is making gluten free sections! But many stores still have their gluten free foods scattered around the store so don’t forget to look all over the store!)
Can you believe how many gluten free products at Walmart there are? Our store pulled together a lot of gluten free foods and made an official Gluten Free Section! (There are still gluten free foods scattered around the store, but this is a nice big section that makes gluten free shopping at Walmart so much easier!
The gluten free aisle goes from the right of this photo, almost to the other end! It’s about 12 feet long!!
And wait until you see the prices!! Same brands as regular grocery stores, but much cheaper!! Glutino, Schar, Kinnicki, Udi’s, Canyon Bakehouse, all of the most popular gluten free brands are at Walmart.
