Firehouse Chili Gluten Free is a savory packed with flavor chili that will warm up any winter day!
There is nothing like a forecast for snow to make me want some wonderful Firehouse Chili!
My mom did not cook much in my childhood, but when she did.tt was so good .
This chili is one she remembered her mother and father making, so it was definitely one she had to make for my brother and me.
It is so delicious and nothing warmed us up better than this chili after we had been out in the snow.Coming inside to the wonderful aroma of this Firehouse Chili bubbling on the stove, was pure heaven.And THEN when we tasted it? Lets just say one bowl was never enough!
If you are wanting an easy to prepare dish to heat up a cold, frigid winter day this is it.
The recipe makes enough to serve a large crowd or have leftovers.
My mom was the oldest of six children, so her parents joked they needed to make enough to feed a firehouse.

- 4 pounds ground meat
- 1 can gf beef broth
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cans stewed tomatoes, cut up
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 4 cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 tablespoon tarragon
