Herb Crusted Filet Of Salmon

Cheesecake Factory Review

The herb-crusted filet of salmon is a delicious combination of herb-crusted salmon, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a creamy white sauce.

Individually, each component is tasty, but when you begin to cut into the dish and combine the flavors, the meal becomes something else entirely.

I quite enjoyed how the herbs imparted a liveliness to the salmon while keeping the inside moist and juicy.

The potatoes also absorb the juices from the salmon and sauce beneath, taking them to the next level.

Overall, the herb-crusted filet of salmon is my favorite item on the menu, and I recommend trying this to everyone.

My Two Favorite Cheesecake Factory Choices

There are two go to choices for me at the Cheesecake Factory. The first is the Bacon Bacon Burger. Its stacked high with cheese and bacon of course. The patties are always juicy and they use Udis gluten free burger buns which is nice.

The second go to item is their Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. It is hands down the best cheesecake Ive ever had. Be mindful with how rich it is. It is a good sized piece of cake, but very sharable. Its so sweet and filling, Aimee and I always share a piece. The only question is who gets to eat the chocolate bar on top? Its usually Aimee because I get the whipped cream! Thats a pretty fair trade to me!

The Cheesecake Factory Gluten

The Cheesecake Factory has a very large menu and also provide a lot of gluten-free options. They have been working to roll out gluten-free options on their menu for years, but it is still pretty much impossible to find any official allergen information on their website. That being said, The Cheesecake Factory actually has a lot of gluten-free food and gluten-free alternatives. They should have gluten-free buns upon request and also gluten-free pasta along with all of their other dishes that naturally dont contain gluten.

Our suggestion is to make sure to check the menu at your local restaurant and inform your server if you are wanting to eat gluten-free, as results may vary by location. Last fall the Cheesecake Factory hit the pause button on a full national rollout of its gluten-free menu to consider the impact of the FDAs new gluten-free labeling rule. The company has kept a low profile on its gluten-free endeavor for the past year, but has continued to work on it. The gluten-free menu became available in all Cheesecake Factory restaurants by September 5th, 2014, according to Alethea Rowe, the companys senior director of public relations and brand management.

Menus subject to gluten-free labeling ruleThe FDAs gluten-free labeling regulation is primarily aimed at packaged foods, but in guidance published in the Federal Register on August 5, 2013, the agency unexpectedly suggested that restaurants and food service comply with the federal definition of the term gluten-free and indicated that they would be subject to enforcement. In the ongoing absence of further guidance from the agency, what this means in practical terms is still a bit hazy. For now, this seems to leave restaurants and food service some latitude in interpreting how to comply with the rule if they choose to label menu items gluten-free.

If you are Celiac and are allergic to trace amounts of gluten, youll likely want to avoid most fast food restaurants that offer any bread products or French fries that are cooked in a shared fryer with other gluten-containing ingredients.

The first Cheesecake Factory restaurant was opened in Beverly Hills, California in 1978 by David Overton. However, their story started much earlier than that. During the 1940s, his mother Evelyn Overton came across a special recipe in the dailies that inspired her Original Cheesecake.
